Men are explorers and adventurers at heart. We like to discover the furthest reaches of the Earth, dive to the deepest depths of the oceans, and fly to the highest points. Of course, we can’t do any of that without the tools of the trade, and watches have become one of the best tools in any industry. Field watches have become the go-to for any land-bound explorer or any man thirsting for adventure. Ball and Buck has been a staple in men’s adventure for a decade and a half and has now collaborated with military and industry specialists Luminox to bring you a once-in-a-lifetime watch. Perfect for the outdoor and adventure enthusiasts.

Mark Bollman, Founder of Ball and Buck, commented on the collaboration: “As a company that’s synonymous with the rigors of special warfare deployments, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Luminox and to infuse Ball and Buck’s signature style into their performance platform. As a brand dedicated to only offering premium gear, this collaboration embodies all that we stand for – authenticity, durability, timeless style.”

Ball and Buck continues its adventurous spirit

Since 2008, Ball and Buck has cared about little more than quality over quantity. They have provided the sporting gentleman with some of the best gear on the market, whether you are a hunter of the most elusive prey or an adventurer looking for the most exciting places on Earth. They continue their spirit of adventure by offering a one-of-a-kind piece for their first chronograph collaboration.

It offers a Swiss Automatic SELLITA SW220-1 HH5 movement and is encased in a stainless-steel pressure-sealed case that is individually tested to a depth of 200 meters. They added Ball and Buck’s staples in the orange flare on the second hand and a sporting silhouette on the face along with a camouflage backing.

Combining military and survival durability and sport

Luminox has been the choice for Navy Seals, The Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue (ICE-SAR), Lockheed Martin’s F-117 NighthawkTM stealth, and other jet fighter pilots, elite forces worldwide, and professional divers for years. It all started in 1992 when a Navy Seal was tasked with finding the perfect watch for night missions. After collaborating with Luminox, the brand developed a reputation for being the best. Even Bear Grylls wears one.

Ball and Buck chose Luminox as their partner for this watch due to the use of Luminox’s Light Technology which stays glowing without any solar charging for 25 years. That makes this the perfect watch for any outdoor enthusiast or anyone looking for adventure in every corner of the Earth. Ball and Buck offers 76 Limited Edition pieces priced at $1400 and a standard edition that saves you $200. So the next time you find adventure calling your name, you now have the perfect watch to accompany you.

Does Rolex donate 90% of what you spend on a watch? The company’s charitable contributions, explained
Do you have another reason to feel good about buying Rolex watches?
Arm with Rolex Submariner on it

There are a handful of world-renowned watch companies in Switzerland that dominate the global watch community. Getting your hands on a Swiss-made watch is similar to buying a car made in Detroit. Of course, while there is Omega, Tudor, and IWC, which are near the top of the brand pyramid, one brand stands above the rest. Rolex.

There are tons of reasons to buy a Rolex watch. Not only has the company dominated the industry with some of the most sought-after watches on the market for a century, but it is also responsible for some of the most iconic men's watches in history, including the Rolex Submariner. But there may be an even better reason to invest in one of these luxury timepieces -- it may help others more than you have ever thought possible. While you may have heard Rolex donates 90% of its profits to charity; that may not be too far off from the truth.

Mr Jones Watches release: Mechanical version of popular ‘Beam me up!’ edition
Whimsy now comes in mechanical
Beam me up! watch

If you want something interesting on your wrist and don’t take things too seriously, then you may want to consider Mr Jones Watches’ new mechanical option. The London-based watchmaker has released an automatic version of its popular "Beam me up!" watch, which features illustrations from French artist and author Xavier Broche.

Like its quartz equivalent, the new "Beam me up!" features a cartoon pig doing its best to escape a tractor beam shot out by a flying saucer. The beam doubles as the minute hand, while the confused swine acts as the hour marker. The rest of the face is a two-tone green and features a cow, a fence, and a small flock of birds. The mechanical variant of the watch is a little bigger than the quartz one. So expect the scene to take up 40 mm of wrist space instead of 37. It’s also 11 mm thick.

Apple Watch Series 9 showing the double tap feature

Smartwatches are the newest innovation in wrist-adorned timekeeping, and they have done a lot to both elevate and upset the watch industry. While they can do everything (almost) that your phone can do, they have also relegated your "dumb watch" to the shelf, where it only comes out on special occasions. Of course, Apple leads the way with the most popular smartwatches on the market, but there is a downside to wearing your Apple watch every day.

Apple watches are about function over fashion. For a long time, we traded in the fashionable side of our favorite watches to be in tune with our bodies and get our messages and notifications without pulling out our phones. But you can bridge the gap between function and fashion in two ways: the watch band and the watch face. The best thing about Apple watches is that both of these aspects are easy to change for a great look every day. There are a lot of options out there, but here are the best Apple watch bands for men to spruce up your smartwatch.
