GRAND OPENING TONIGHT!!!

Make sure you come on over to support us at our new downtown club Goodhandy's tonight. Many of the "nude boys" will be appearing in (their first) non-nude roles as go-go dancers and we will be christening our new giant screen projector (bigger than the Lounge, sharper image, just got it installed yesterday and I'm in love with it!).
Also appearing will be a handful of the video models who never wanted to make the trek out to the Lounge.

Summary of the Lounge... and late night Mitch show

So the Lounge is officially back to normal. I was there last night and did not have to rush out to Goodhandy's, everything is under control downtown so I could concentrate on making sure the Lounge stays normal.

We had an amazing line-up of boys, unfortunately due to some communication lapses, I was not able to properly announce all of them. Mainly Dominic and Alex were the two hotties who I did not mention in advance they were coming in. So it was Dominic, Alex, Mike, Mitch and MJ.

The night slowed down near midnight, and the boys started heading out, which is often the case. Sometimes people have called me and said "I came to the Lounge at 12:15 and it was locked" and I say "yes, sometimes we leave by then". But I am concerned that as summer gets going, more people will be out late. So Mike, Mitch and MJ and I stuck around for a bit longer. And then a male-female duo came in. I told them most of the boys were gone but they were welcome to still come in and watch videos and have some drinks. So they did. And then they asked me to change a couple hundred bucks into five dollar bills so that Mitch could do a show just for them. They moved to the front row, and I closed the door to make it more intimate, and Mitch danced for them on stage for about a half hour. The lady in the duo is from New Orleans, she evacuated a day before the Hurricane hit and has been working in Toronto as a nurse since then. She is going to go back down there after hurricane season, but being from New Orleans I think she appreciated the effort Mitch put into dancing just for her and her friend. We locked up by around 140am, and zipped down to Goodhandy's to check it out. Goodhandy's was also very busy last night - the Saturday nights have now caught on, and are really developing their vibe.

Mike has appeared in a handful of our DVDs and www.amateurcanadianguys.com updates. He has only appeared at the Lounge a couple times, but he called me today and would like me to let you all know he is coming in this Saturday evening.

Come meet Mike in person on Saturday night - our line-up this weekend looks like it is shaping up already, and I have arranged so that I do not have to rush out the door downtown to Goodhandy's any more, so I am looking forward to having a more relaxed time with you all. Thanks for being patient (I know you don't come to the club to see me, but I must say one of the highlights of the weeks has always been my Saturday nights and the relaxed, mamby-pamby-mayhem style that is the Lounge).

Also I am going to keep mentioning - our Goodhandy's launch is shaping up to be quite the "boy-fest". We are phoning dozens of past Mayhem North and AmateurCanadianGuys models in the hope that a good amount of them come on down and support and represent and participate in photo / video shoots, etc.

The new club opening will also mark a return to live shows on AmateurCanadianGuys - this is something we were trying to get going back when we had "Mayhem Thursdays" at the local bathhouse. But we could not get the momentum, which is what often happens when you are in someone else's venue as a promoter. So for those who enjoyed the live shows, please note we will be returning with them starting next Friday June 16th, and then at least one night per week thereafter (but likely we will also give you peeks at some of our Wednesday night stuff too.) So if you have not joined AmateurCanadianGuys, it is time to do it now.

This Week's New DVD - Side-By-Side #9 - Deven and Jude

This week's new DVD is the ninth installment in the "Side-By-Side" series, starring Deven and Jude. And also two Mayhem North favorites Marko and Jonathan in their solo scenes.

Marko will be appearing at Goodhandy's for our Grand Opening week, plus also for the following Pride week. Don't forget to come down for the grand opening on June 14th (a week from Wednesday) or June 16th (Friday). You will get a chance to meet a lot of our video models in person.

Big announcement....

So I have an announcement for all of you patient men out there who have been a little neglected by me - I have not been to the Lounge for the past couple weeks, and I have even missed two of the weekly DVD releases in the past 6 weeks. A few of you dudes have been sweet enough to e-mail and / or pull me aside a few weeks back and tell me that you know just how much work this whole project is for me and Mandy (and trust me I am not complaining - I love it all!)

Our new club Goodhandy's at 120 Church Street is not just for T-Girls and their admirers.... Silly boys, how could you think that we would open a new club and leave you out???

I am proud to say that we are launching two new nights at Goodhandy's.

This is Week 3 of Goodhandy's, and up until now we have only been open on Thursdays and Saturdays for T-Girls and their admirers.

Our next Grand Openings are Wednesday June 14th, and Friday June 16th.

The Wednesday evenings are called "MAYHEM" and the Fridays are called "VOYEURISM".

These nights are gentlemen's nights (although on the Wednesday we do permit escorted ladies), and the focus of both nights is voyeurism and hot, hot boys.

We are installing a massive screen, and a smaller one near the bar, and the screens will play all original Mayhem North footage. You will see live internet broadcasts, softcore photo-shoots, contests, underwear wrestling, and much more. Just leave the entertainment to Mandy Goodhandy, that is what she does best.

I am personally very very happy and proud to be finally opening a men's bar on Church Street.

Every day we are open, the more I fall in love with this beautiful space. It has such a nice vibe, and the potential for visual presentations, cruising, and shows are mind-blowing. I also like the fact that it is not in the heart of the gay village, but that it is close enough that it will only cost $5 by cab for anyone coming down from the Village. I am also happy that we live in Canada and a recent Supreme Court ruling made swingers clubs legal, and our Members-Only "Diamond Room" is one of the first downtown "queer" clubs taking advantage of the new laws in Canada.

Keep your eye on our website(s) for more information, and of course you should expect lots of photos galleries and blog entries.

This is the next phase for Mayhem North - it is going to be a hot summer!

And I just want to make sure everyone understands this - the Lounge is NOT closing or changing in any way. The Lounge is our baby, and it is an adult entertainment facility, and we have no intentions of closing it down. We like being in the suburbs, and it gives our models an opportunity to make money so as long as they will have us at the host club, we'll be there.

Last thing - I will see you all this weekend, I have found a DJ for Goodhandy's, and Fausto / aka Chico-Loco will be running things for me, so I can return to the Lounge. Ian told me a couple of you were asking about me, so I will see you this weekend. Not sure about the exact line-up yet, but we'll make a party out of it. There are certain to be a whole new crop of boys popping up once we are operating downtown, so we'll bring them out your way!
