Mitch next week

It's karma... or jinxes... if I mention something about Mitch being confirmed, it will not happen. Mitch appears, when Mitch appears. Anyways, I just spoke on the phone, and he will not be coming in tonight. I didn't want any of his "fans" to come in under false pretenses. I am sure there will be Mayhem and Madness anyways, just not of the Mitch variety.

Vladimir Putin as Male Stripper

A new Russian boy came in last week, but he forgot his ID, so he had to go home. His friend phoned me during the week, apparently they work construction, and he told me that the guy looks exactly like a younger version of Vladimir Putin. When I came into the club, sure enough, Vladimir Putin was waiting at the door.

the Return of Larry

Believe it or not, this was one of our FIRST "nude boys" back from December 5th, 2003. Larry was not really into the stripping thing, but he was in the neighbourhood so decided to drop in. Great night!

Tonight was action-packed.... last weekend we were DEAD, and so was the straight female strip club upstairs. The bartender Molly and I were trying to figure it out all night, and then DUH, it hit us, it was Valentine's Day weekend. People don't go to strip clubs on Valentine's day... (maybe it's because most people who go to strip clubs are cheating???)
Anyways, last weekend was very uneventful, but this weekend was the direct opposite. We had a good amount of customers, and shot a lot of video. I will summarize the videos in separate posts, with image previews, but overall a very productive night.

More New Faces this weekend... and Mitch returns (maybe)

Like I said last week, I can't guarantee anything, but we have been steadily running ads this week and my phone has been ringing non-stop.
I'd say estimate low so there's no disappointment, but our goal is to have at least one new face every weekend this month. Last week I had 3 guys "confirm" and one out of three showed up. This week I've had 6 guys "confirm" so maybe if we're lucky we'll have 2 or 3 newbies.
Please drop in, we've got to make sure we've got a good audience base when we've got newbies, so they have a reason to stick around.
ALSO: the elusive Mitch is allegedly making an appearance this weekend. Mitch is someone who is always popular, but who only drops in on his own whim. Genie Nomination!

Just got word that a screenplay I co-wrote and was associate producer on was nominated for 2 genie awards - Best adapted screenplay and Best Supporting Actor (Brendan Fehr).
For those who don't know what the Genies are, they are the Canadian version of the Oscars.
Just wanted to share my excitement, cross your fingers for me, hopefully we win, but even if not, nominations are always good.

The New Blog is Complete!!!

I have finished the long, tedious process of taking all of the blog entries I had made on one long HTML page since the Lounge opened, and putting them into the Blogger.com interface.
So now it will be much easier for me to post new entries, and it will take much less time for the page to load, as the Blogger system automatically archives entries and breaks them down into months.
Check out all the archives, as there are tons of links to past photos and mayhem. I even left in a handful of unblurred cocks, from back when we were more "generous" - tee hee.

NEW FACES THIS WEEKEND

While I can't guarantee anything, I want to let you know that we've had ads running this week in the Toronto Sun and Now weekly, and I've spoken with a handful of guys who sounded quite serious about coming in to "try out" stripping this weekend. They have for the most part been straight and curious guys who know the audience is primarily male, but also are happy because I told them the truth about customers - that truth being: while we do have a "mixed" crowd, I have only once seen a female audience member take a dancer for a VIP dance... therefore they know they will make their money from the male customers.
As the serious "boy connoisseur" knows, they often only last one weekend, because getting nude isn't for everyone.... So make sure you take advantage of the nice weather and drop in on Saturday night to give these new faces a warm welcome (and hopefully get some VIP dances from them to "break them in")....
